Copper Hoop Earrings With Posts and Silver Discs

Copper and silver.....
combine to make these handmade copper hoop earrings with post fitting. Round 3.25mm {8g} copper wire has been flattened and a banded texture added before being shaped into hoops. Two sterling silver discs with a smooth texture have been soldered to the front of the copper hoops so they are visible when the hoops are worn. One end of the hoops has been filed and sanded to a smooth finish and a sterling silver post soldered to the other end. Supplied with sterling silver scroll fasteners.

The copper is oxidized and polished to give it a rich antique patina which shows the banded texture well and the contrast in colour with the silver discs. Nice and sturdy so will not bend out of shape.
